Acapx performed a live 3" tap into the existing 8" ductile fire main pipe. We installed a 3" gate valve non rising stem with a Op Nut, and cast iron riser valve box and extended the 3 inch line across the parking lot to the building where it branched off into a 1-1/2" domestic water line with a 1-1/2" prv and ball valve, the branch tee 3" x 2" x 1-1/2". We will continue to the designated area for the fire protection we will install a 2" backflow and terminate with a capped line approximately 3' above ground.
